HERMÈS SCARF DESIGN
Hermès Paris is a Luxury French Brand that is known for their leather goods, accessories, perfumes, and jewelry. Hermès started out producing leather saddles for horses. Some scarves have a horse for that reason. Freelance artists from all over the world can submit a design for the scarf. This collaboration makes the scarves so unique and diverse.

Objective /
Create illustrations for three totally different scarves for Hermès Paris. Focusing on Oahu Hawaii, Moroccan style, and Western for each scarf.
ILLUSTRATION
Everything that makes Oahu, Oahu. Sea turtles that can be seen all year round in Oahu. The Dole Plantation that offers a fresh pineapple experience. Palm trees surround the island and rainbows are seen multiple times a day followed by the rain fall. Hawaii’s tropical weather and sunshine allows bright flowers to bloom. Hibiscus and Plumeria flowers are spotted on the island. The Banyan tree located at the Ala Moana Surfrider hotel is 160+ years old. Diamond Head crater that was formed by a volcano eruption.
STORY BEHIND IT
Inspired by the Moroccan tiles that came to the light in the 10th century. During this time the tiles were mainly brown and white, but the use of colors began in the 14th century. Similar to today’s Moroccan–style tiles, they were all made with natural materials and handmade by skilled craftsmen. Timeless modern tiles depicting flower patterns rich in blue and purple with cream.
